Fish On works to protect the ocean so fishing communities have access to a healthy and thriving coast.
Our Approach
A Unique Voice for Fishing: We bring a fresh, solutions-oriented voice to fishery and ocean policy conversations, bridging conservation and community to drive lasting impact.
Building Public Support: We create safe spaces for anglers, divers and ocean lovers to learn, connect, challenge outdated norms and champion responsible fishing together.
Earning Trust: We are committed to maintaining credibility with both decision-makers and our community through respectful dialogue, scientifically-verified insights and real-world experience.
OPEN POSITION
We’re looking for up to five Coastal Storytelling Interns to help document the ecological and cultural histories of California’s coast. This is an opportunity for college-level students interested in storytelling, research, community history, ocean conservation, or public-facing communications to shape a creative project and support a mission-driven organization.
